Happy New Year everyone!
I just wanted to give a great big thank you to all my amazing clients this past year. I have been blessed by each of you over the past year. I am excited for 2017, and for the new faces I will photograph, and also the familiar ones that keep coming back! Lets make it a beautiful year to remember!
I don’t really make any resolutions going into the new year, but I did create some new goals for myself a few months ago. One of those goals was focusing on my health (thyroid/weight problems) – and guess what? I’m headed into the new year 17 pounds lighter! Holla! Big hugs everyone and cheers to an amazing 2017! xoxo Jana
Hey friends! As you may have seen, I have been chosen as one of the 50 photographers in the nation who will be donating photography services to a beautiful child (ages 2-16). To learn more about this campaign, please take 3 minutes to watch this video! This is Michelle who is an incredibly awesome photographer and woman who started this amazing campaign: What is Beauty Revived 50 Most Beautiful Children
We are looking for 50 Beautiful Children who are examples of real beauty! We need nominations for children who show attributes of real beauty. We are looking for children who have overcome obstacles, or who helps others despite the trials they have been through or who consistently volunteers and helps their community and whose spirit radiates and shines so brightly others can’t help but to want to be around them.
50 photographers from around the world are donating sessions to these children. Their sessions will be featured in the summer issue of Beauty Revived magazine
2014 Ghirardelli Square 50th Annual Tree Lighting
with Kevin Toqe
If you haven’t experienced the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony in San Francisco’s Ghirardelli Square – you are missing out. It truly is a magical event for all ages! Santa makes a grand appearance, snow falls, and of course the music is awesome! Don’t forget to stop by Ghirardelli Chocolate to get a hot cocoa (hint – there are 3 locations in the square where you can buy your goodies! One is on the street side that very few realize is there – less busy!) Arrive early for the event as it does get VERY crowded! Bring a coat – although there’s plenty of body heat to keep you warm if you forget one (I’m a Cali-girl – I almost always forget a coat!). My good friend, Kevin Toqe, invited me along to take a few photos – mainly the big one at the end with everyone holding their candles in the crowd – such a beautiful thing to witness seeing everyone come together as one big family, singing carols and just living in the moment. <3 Below are a few of my favorite images from the evening…enjoy!
